With another year in the books, it’s always a great time to reflect upon the year that was.
2024 was a year that we’ll look back on fondly, as we’re very proud of what we’ve been able to achieve as a team. This was highlighted by finishing the 2023/24 season with a new record of having 50% of our horses finish in the Top 3. Adding in our strong winners strike rate of 15.9%, and it was another successful season for our stable. As you can see by the summary stats below, our 2024/25 season has started even stronger and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
The key word in the above paragraph is team. We have brilliant people around us that help us achieve what we do, and at the risk of missing people we’d like to send a special thanks to Kelly Dufty, Russell Huddart, Luke Williams, James McNamara, Jessie Constantine, Brenton O’Rourke, Bruce and Maria Chambers, Umesh Joseph, Lach Etherton, Darren O’Donnell, Greg May, Peter Cannon and the list goes on. No doubt we’ve missed people, as we have so many wonderful supporters of our stable, but please know your help and work is very much appreciated.
Similar thanks goes out to all of our owners and breeders, for providing us the opportunity to train your horses. Without your support we wouldn’t be where we are today.
We have a great spread of versatile horses, with our winners across the 2023/24 season (and into the start of the new season) being Duhlata, Kev’s Girl, Grassmere Jewel, Major Share, Grassmere Diamond, Hold The Phone, Stan Tough, Tequila Storm.
We can’t wait to see what 2025 and beyond brings us, no doubt highlighted by the young talent we have coming through the stable. Exciting times ahead!
